Debra holds a Masters Degree in Arts Administration from Boston University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Dean College. Debra was professionally trained through the certificate program at The Ailey School in NYC. Debra most recently was employed as the Dance Program Director for the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College where she also taught modern dance, directed productions, advised the Dance Team and choreographed the musical Hairspray. Prior to moving to Western, MA, Debra was the co-owner and artistic director of Art in Motion Dance Company in North Kingstown, RI. Throughout Debra’s career she has taught at many New England Dance schools, won high awards for her choreography in the competition circuit, worked with the RI arts learning network in the creation of the RI state dance proficiency protocols, choreographed for community theatre, performed on MTV, worked for the Ailey Camp NYC and managed the Capezio Dance shop on West 51st Street NYC. She has had the pleasure and privilege of working and dancing with some of the dance industries finest. Debra was a licensed massage therapist, Pound ™ and Piloxing® Instructor. She is licensed to teach many formats in the Zumba Fitness program but most enjoys teaching regular Zumba®

Natalie graduated from Holyoke Community College with an Associate degree in Arts and Science. From there she completed her Personal Trainer Certification as well as her Ballet Barre Certification. She is passionate about guiding individuals to a healthy lifestyle through fitness and nutrition. She loves instructing group exercise classes and also individually trains all age groups. Her motto: We are better together!

I fell in love with Zumba while working on a Master's Degree in Education. Zumba was my time away from school, work, family, and the everyday responsibilities of life. As a wife, mother, and teacher I know how valuable time is. Zumba is an awesome escape from life's daily chores to have fun, sweat, burn calories, and free your mind one hour at a time. Music, dance and intensity of fitness feeds the soul. Tracy spent most of her younger years dancing at a local studio for fun, participated on competitive teams and taught dance as well. She was lucky enough to be introduced to Zumba® a few years ago and her fitness journey began! She recently discovered a love for POUND™ & took the opportunity to learn more and become licensed to teach! POUND™takes her to a happy place, a temporary escape from the stressors of life! She plans to continue to seek out more opportunities for certifications in other fitness classes and can’t wait to share them with you! Dawn is a strong believer if something scares you it's exactly what you should do next. She once stood in the back row of a Zumba® class clueless. Fast forward to today and a lot has changed. From beginner, to student, to becoming a Zumba® instructor and now holding 4 licenses to teach Zumba®, Zumba® Kids, Zumba® Kids Jr. and Strong by Zumba®. I am so thrilled to be a Fitness instructor!! I've been exercising most of my life and have always enjoyed getting into shape, but after my first Zumba class in 2008, my life changed! I have never loved a job as much as I love teaching Regular Zumba, Zumba Toning, Pound Fitness and Strong by Zumba®. My favorite part is when people tell me... "Wow, that was an amazing work out, and it was SO much fun!" I have been a licensed Zumba™ instructor since 2009 and I hold 5 Zumba licenses through ZIN™, the elite Zumba®Instructor Network™. I teach several fitness classes per week and specialize in Basic 1 and 2, Toning, Gold, Strong by Zumba™ and Pound Fitness™. I have been a licensed Pound Fitness™ instructor since 2012. I enjoy teaching this class so much, as it’s such a challenging and different work out. Bring a Pound Pro™ has raised the bar for me as an instructor which I love!! I’ve always loved to dance, be challenged and work with people, so naturally becoming a fitness instructor was a perfect fit for me. I have also completed 4 marathons, 1 half marathon and several road races. I enjoy helping my clients achieve their fitness goals and I enjoy all aspects of fitness.

Lisa has always had a love for dance.
She has a dance background of 17+ years from ballet, lyrical, pointe and jazz. Losing yourself in different music and routines helps you forget those every day stressors. When you are surrounded by energetic people and great music it brings you to a new place. Lisa fell in love with Zumba after her first class in 2010. Who wouldn’t enjoy working out and having fun at the same time? She then achieved her Zumba® license in 2014. She enjoys coming to class and meeting new people with the same passion and love for dance fitness along with other types of fitness as well. She has participated in a few different road races and obstacles; She also enjoys golfing and playing softball. Lisa is excited to start this journey of Zumba® fitness at Alegria.
I fell in love with Zumba® five years ago when I started taking classes at Alegria. I decided to become an instructor when the new Strong by Zumba program came out. My passion in life is health and fitness. It is very rewarding to know I am helping others to achieve their fitness goals while having fun at the same time. I feel it is very important for people to incorporate healthy eating habits with their fitness goals to not only enhance wellness, but to lead a healthy active lifestyle and most importantly,to gain confidence and self esteem
