Z-XTrim is a total body workout combining two main elements of fitness: endurance and strength. This class is the perfect balance! 30 minutes of high energy and heart pumping Zumba® Fitness dance moves that will warm up and loosen your body, and 25 minutes of conditioning exercises using your own body’s weight. It was designed by our very own Edmee Cherdieu d’Alexis to tone, strengthen, and elongate your muscles; with a focus on helping you achieve a longer, leaner figure.
Originally from Cyprus, Irena Meletiou has rendered her own unique style and vision, which is sought after by celebrities to recording artists to royalty. She has danced and assisted choreography for Chris Willis, was a featured dancer in VH1's reality show with Salt-N-Peppa; danced at KTU's Beatstock, and has been featured in music videos with known artists such as Mary J Blige. She received formal training at Alvin Ailey, Ballet Arts, and Broadway Dance Center and is certified in Zumba(R) Basic 1, Zumba(R) Basic 2, Catwalk Confidence, ISTD Modern, and Masala Bhangra. Currently teaching at Z Club NY, Equinox, Reebok Sports Club, Sports Club LA, New York Sports Clubs, and running her own Zumba(R) classes and Zumba(R) Master Classes, Irena has created a huge following with over 1,000 students on her mailing list and is considered one of the most motivational, successful, and talented Zumba instructors in NYC. She brings passion into every class and client she works with because Irena truly cares about each client's potential and growth, stressing the correct form and areas in which to improve for all of her Zumba(R) clients. A recent accomplishment and honor is that Zumba(R) selected Irena to be the New York ZES (Zumba Education Specialist), in which she will be certifying and training all New York Zumba instructors.
Originally from the French island of Guadeloupe, Edmee started dancing at a very young age and perfected her training at the Alvin Ailey Dance School after her move to New York City. Edmee has been involved in fitness for the past 10 years, teaching at top New York City facilities such as Equinox, Crunch and The Sports Club/LA. Being in the Fitness world she very quickly recognizes Zumba as an opportunity for people to become physically active; it is fun and simple enough that students at any fitness level can not only participate, but get an effective cardio vascular workout as well.The last 7 years she has learned the behind the scene of the fitness industry by being the Group Fitness manager for the Sports Club/LA and Equinox. In 2011 she Co-Founded Z Club NY. The first Zumba studio in New York city. Teaching however remain her passion, and sharing her love of movement is her driving force.

Liz Imperio is the Creative Director of Hollywood Vibe- one of the dance industry's premier competitions/conventions. Liz has taught master classes for tens of thousands of students and has mentored countless professional dancers, and in 2016, The Industry Dance Awards has named Liz as "Role Model of the Year" Liz Imperio has established herself as a major director and choreographer in the entertainment industry. Some of her credits include the staging and choreography for Jennifer Lopez’s most recent world tour Dance Again and two world tours for Madonna – the Re-invention Tour and the Confessions Tour.

In the entertainment industry today, aerial arts are practically everywhere; Tony Award Winner Pippen, PINK’s Funhouse Tour, the Victoria’s Secret 2012 Fashion Show, the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony & Fuerza Bruta are just a few productions that have impressed and inspired millions around the world with their incredible use of aerial acrobatics.
We will be offering 3 workshop classes
1:00-2:30pm Ages 8-12
3:00-4:30 Ages 13-17
5:00-6:30 Ages 18+
Class Fee is $65

TRL and ESPN II. TRL guests were in for a treat this year as Kelly Peters hosted one of MTV’s most popular shows. Kelly choreographed and taught a dance to prom goers and TV viewers called, “The Obama.” Kelly was also an exclusive guest host on ESPN II, Fall 2007, where he critiqued end zone celebrations. From Chad Johnson to Tyrell Owens, Kelly brought his talents to the field, chatting it up with NFL All-Stars and cheerleaders regarding football dances and choreography.
